Officer Leary started her law enforcement career with the Peru Police Department in September of 2020.
Officer Leary is a native of New York State. She completed her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York in Dietetics in 2014.
Prior to working with the Peru Police Department, Ofc. Leary worked as a Police Officer for the San Diego Harbor Police Department.
Officer Leary was married in October of 2020 and her wife Lexie is an Illinois Valley native. They enjoy spending time with their families and their dog.
