VACANCIES
Public Works Laborer
The City of Peru Public Works Department is accepting applications for a Laborer. Responsibilities will include repairing water main and sewer breaks, performing hydrant repairs and lift station maintenance. Additional duties include, but not limited to, snowplowing, street sweeping, mowing, and performing chipper service.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and possess a valid Illinois CDL. Candidates must also be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
Full-time position with competitive salary and excellent benefit package. The starting rate of pay for this position is $33.33 per hour.
