Yard Waste Pick-Up :: General
Please remember that yard waste should be placed at the curb prior to 6:00 a.m.
Yard waste should be placed in 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags. Please note, nothing shall be deposited in a yard waste bag other than leaves, grass clippings, small twigs, and clippings from small plants, bushes, flowers, and trees. Yard waste such as branches and brush should be cut into 4ft. lengths and tied together with string or twine in bundles not exceeding 50lbs. If you have any questions regarding yard waste collection, please contact Republic Services at 815-434-2035.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the proposed Operating Budget Ordinance for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of May, 2022 and ending on the 30th day of April, 2023, for the City of Peru will be held by the City Council on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located in the Municipal Building, 1901 4th St., Peru, Illinois.
