Appliance pick-up is scheduled for the week of March 30th - April 2nd. Large appliances consist of water heater, washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwaves and dehumidifiers
Cemetery flowers and decorations are permitted after March 15th.
Chipping service will begin on Monday, April 6th. Residents are asked to call the Public Works Dept. at 223-2962, to make an appointment. Charges are $20.00 for each 15 minutes the chipper is at their residence. Items accepted: Tree limbs (no more than 4ft in length and 6in in diameter) and bush trimmings. Brush is to be piled by the curb. Absolutely no roots or dirt.
Hydrant flushing is scheduled for May 11th-May 22nd from 7am-3:30pm. Residents may experience low water pressure and/or rusty water.
Leaf burning is not permitted in the spring. Bonfires, under direct supervision, are allowed.
Yard waste bag pick-up begins on Monday, April 6th. Only leaves, twigs, grass, brush and vines will be accepted. No dirt, sod, animal waste and garbage. Yard waste must be placed in biodegradable bags and can be purchased at participating stores. Yard bags are picked up by Republic Services on Mondays. Please have bags to curb by 6am.
