Dectective Jeff Paul started his law enforcement career with the Warrenville Police Department in 2006. He transferred to the Peru Police Department in 2007. He also served part time with Ladd Police for several years.
As a Peru Detective, he has served as a certified crisis negotiator, a field training officer for new officers, a co-coordinator for the Youth Diversion Program (formerly Peer Jury), and as a member of the Peru Emergency Response Team.
Detective Paul studied criminal justice at IVCC and graduated from the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy.
Detective Paul additionally serves our community, as a member of the Peru Eagles, is a Knight of Columbus, and a member of the Illinois Valley Flying Club.
He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, swimming, and SCUBA diving.
