Dectective Amy Sines started her law enforcement career with the Peru Police Department in September of 2003. 

Since 2004 Detective Sines has been part of the former Illinois Valley Peer Jury Program, now known as the Peru Police Department Youth Diversion Program.

She is also part of the Crisis Negotiation team as a certified crisis negotiator, serves a field-training officer for new recruits and most recently is heading up and revitalizing the Dale Charbonneau Memorial Citizens Police Academy. 

Detective Sines holds an Associate degree from Illinois Valley Community College and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University.

Detective Sines loves spending time with her family and enjoys playing roller derby and volleyball.
