On May 17, 2009, Officer Sarah Kunkel will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant by the City of Peru Board of Fire and Police Commissioners.  She is the first female command officer in Peru Police Department history. Congratulations Sgt. Sarah Kunkel and best of luck to you in your new position.
